I lost my Fitbit flex three days ago. I was so so sad and angry at myself-I didnt notice it was missing for a day and a half...that shows how much I checked my Fitbit app but thats beside the point. I looked everywhere in my house, at my mothers house, I called the stores I shopped in the day it went missing but I got nothing. I finally figured Id spend the $5.99 to purchase this app to see if it could help me. It my last resort. So I bought it, loaded it walked around my house and within 10 minutes the app started chirping and buzzing and the HOT fire status appeared--my Fitbit was found deep underneath the kitchen counter in a massive Costco sized oatmeal box!! Really? I wouldve never found it-- it wouldve taken me a whole year probably to eat up that oatmeal and come across it and by then the battery wouldve been dead and I wouldve been totally out of luck!! I wouldve purchased another Fitbit and wasted my money!! If youve lost your Fitbit BUY THIS APP!! I give it 10 stars!!!!!! Im so happy happy happy! And so is my husband because he gave it to me for Christmas!

It led me to my Fitbit! The Cold, warm and hot gage are very accurate!!!

Lost my fitbit in my 600 square foot condo and this "Find my Fitbit" failed to see it at all (along with two other apps). I called Fitbit costumer support as the Fitbit app kept saying it was syncing to my Charge HR -- they confirmed it was syncing to my registered Charge HR (not just another other Fitbit Charge HR) and helped me locate it by setting three or four alarms about one minute apart so it would hum and vibrate. Found my Fitbit in less than two minutes by listening for the hum/buzzing from the alarm going off. Was in my running shoes in the open closet of my washer and dryer area. Whew. Note: I did test this app and it does help locate if Fitbit is out in an open space -- like on my bed. So, today in my case, this app totally failed me and misled me to think my Fitbit was not in my condo when it really was within 10 feet (or less) of where I mostly tried scanning for it -- I may have even walked within 2 feet of it and it did not detect my lost Fitbit. Thus I cannot say it is that reliable when it indicates it does not detect your missing Fitbit with all its caveats of your Fitbit app must be off and disconnect from your cellphones Bluetooth. Be forewarned on this.

So I lost my fit bit and I was searching frantically for it. I bought this app thinking I could find it but it didnt help one bit. Im trying to get a refund but they wont respond to my email and I am very dissatisfied.

The app states that if it can not find your Fitbit it will refund your money. All the links to contact support do not work. The email address comes back non deliverable. So I paid the $5.99 the app did not work and I can not contact anyone. Do not download.

Sometimes I carry my Fitbit device in my pocket without the band. Sometimes it gets dropped on my floorboard or pulled out of my pocket with my car keys or left in the pocket of one of my pants or shirts. This locator has been a lifesaver. Today, for example, I met some friends at a restaurant, then used an ATM at a service station up the street, then drove across town to a upholstery store, then back home. I had taped the fit bit device to my chest with painters tape, which has always held before. This time, however, I discovered the device missing and pressed the finder which started rotating as I drove to and then walked through the restaurant, with no signal. Ditto at the service station and then retraced my trip back to the upholstery shop. With the detection device spinning, I got out of my car at the now empty upholstery shop and began walking around the parking lot. The device stopped spinning and I got a cold reading and knew I was close by. I found the device in the parking lot, almost invisible against the tarmac and no I would never have found it without this app. The fit bit device had been run over by a car, judging by the scratches on it surface. But it still works fine. Thanks again… I love this app.

I love this app I was frantic as the Fitbit was a gift from my son. Thank you for helping me find it!

I have a zip, which can only be located "shortly after its lost". Well, if I realized it was lost, shortly after I lost it, I could probably find it myself. I checked the app and it said it could locate ALL fitbits. But it did not locate the zip, and fair enough, but you shouldve made that clear up front.

I lost my fitbit a day ago and spent over an hr looking for it... I was about to get a new one when I saw this app. My fitbit was in the garbage can in my garage!!! I would have never looked there. My cleaning lady threw it away on accident. It was totally worth the 6 bucks and not $129

I would not have found my Fitbit without this app for months. Be sure to move slowly and believe where the app takes you. Good luck!

I was skeptical because as we searched it would go warm then cold in one area of my living room where I thought I left it but we could not find it, then my husband held up to the ceiling and it got warmer so I went upstairs and again warm then cold finally I thought let me look under the bed & dresser and lo and behold it was under my dresser, thats why it was warm on the ceiling, duh. Great app!!

It found my Fitbit in my driveway. Had fallen out of my pocket and landed on the ground under my tire. Would have been crunched if I pulled my car out in the morning. Saved me $100!!!

Definitely worth $6 to track down a new Alta. I used the tracker to find my friends lost Fitbit at Lowes on a BUSY Saturday. An employee had picked it up, and we found him and it. Yay!!!!!

My daughter lost her FitBit on accident and we would have never found it without this app! I highly recommend this app to anybody with a Fitbit! This is a wonderful app to have!

Really works.. Said it was warm ... Keep walking until it says hot!!! Worth the money to buy the app!

You have to really dig to find that this app does NOT work for the Charge. The description should list the models it is compatible with at the top. Was within a couple feet of my Fitbit and it did not detect it. Thankfully I found it without the app.

After a really bad day, during which I noticed my new Alta was gone, i came home to look for it. After turning my place upside down i found this app which led me to it in 2 minutes. It was inside a boot in a closet in another room. I never would have found it. This app is amazing!!!! Thank you
